CDT, CDTA, PDTI Behavioral Consultant
Dogs can have either left or right paws, and destroying furniture might be an indication of separation anxiety. Bonny Wainz takes into account a variety of behaviors when teaching a dog, these being just a few.
Bonny offers her clients more than 35 years of experience as the founder of Alternative Canine Training. She believes that her greatest quality is her love of witnessing happy, contented, and tranquil lives shared by dogs and their owners. Only when the dog is well-trained does this occur. Both the dog and the owner suffer when a dog attacks, urinates on the carpet, chews, barks, or gets locked in to the house due to lack of control.
We proudly provide dog training classes that will make a positive difference in you and your dog's life.
Service Dog Trainer
After many years of working with rescue dogs and having a strong background in the assistance dog industry, Cindi Fleishans is an extremely skilled dog trainer. Not only does Cindi teach clients of Alternative Canine Training (ACT), but she also donates hundreds of hours annually to the nonprofit Sterling Service Dogs program.
Since 2003, she has assisted with every aspect of getting canines ready for a career as service dogs, from screening possible candidates to training new dogs obedience commands, polite public behavior, and useful tasks at every level from beginner to advanced. She then gives the disabled client instructions on how to work with a highly trained service dog to dramatically boost their level of freedom and safety. She gives the International Association of Assistance Dog Partners some of her time as a volunteer as well.
